Last week Indie band “Rare Monk” played at a free public performance in Monroe Park as part of Eugene’s Summer in the City event series. The band – whose music uniquely combines elements of pop, rock, psych, jazz, and funk – will also perform this weekend at the Whiteaker Block Party on August 6, 2011.
